Servant Events

On a couple of Sundays during the school year, the youth travel to Lutheran Village of Columbus, an assisted living facility in northeast Columbus. The youth go to the rooms of the residents and aid them in getting to the chapel for worship.

Also during the year and in association with World Vision, the youth spend 30 hours fasting. The youth spend this time appreciating that they get to eat almost whenever they want or whenever they are hungry.

Mission Messiah is an event where, a few times during the year, the youth take a Sunday afternoon to serve the members of Messiah. They ask if they have yard work or other household duties that they could complete for them.
