Stepping Stones

Messiah follows a program called Stepping Stones.  This program celebrates seven steps in children’s spiritual growth: Birth, Baptism, Entry into Sunday School, First Bible, First Communion, Confirmation, and Graduation from high school.

We celebrate Confirmation on a Sunday in May. The students are recognized at a service and given a special blessing. The Graduation celebration is very similar. It typically occurs the first Sunday in June. These are ways that Messiah lets our youth know that they are important and that their faith will always be important.
